Good afternoon Cotee River Families this is Mrs. Slusser with your week two information. We had an amazing start to the school year and look forward to the start of week two. This week our scholars will watch the Student Crime Watch Program video. Monday is our first PTA meeting that will be held through the Zoom Conference platform, starting at 4:45. If you are would like to become a member and join our Awesome PTA please visit our Cotee River Facebook page titled: Cotee River PTA. On the Facebook page there is a post providing directions on how to be part of the first meeting, if interested. If a PTA form was turned into us directly here at school, an email will be sent to you with the Zoom Link. This Thursday is fall picture day. All children will have their picture taken whether or not you place an order. The pictures are used for our yearbook. If you have a child on the MySchool On-line Platform they may still participate by calling the front office at (727) 774-3000 and letting Mrs. O’Brien know. The fall pictures time frame will be from 8:30-9:30 for MSO students. Please remember instruction starts daily at 9:40 and children are considered tardy if they come to school afterwards. Also, a new gate was installed in the front parking lot and it allows you to park and leave through the new gate entrance verses going around the car loop. The gate will only be open daily from 3:00-4:00 in order to assist our families who have children needing to attend therapies, appointments or emergencies. The gate will not be used for regular dismissal. Mark your calendars that there is no school Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day.
