Additional Upcoming Important Information

Important information for MSOL Families only:

When we return from Winter Break, 4th and 5th grade students will be together and Ms. Spear will be their teacher.  As we receive parent responses, for students returning to Cotee River, on campus, we will assign students to a classroom.  Due to parents having up until we left for Winter Break (December 18th to respond), some of the class placements and final decisions will occur when we return on January 5th, planning day.  When your child has been assigned to a class, their teacher’s information can also be found within the parent portal. If you have any questions please contact the front office, 727 774-3000.

Early Release Days:

Dismissal is two hours earlier on the following dates: January 13, February 3, March 3, and April 7. For Cotee River we will start dismissing at 2:08 on these days. Students who attend PLACE may still do so on these days.  It is very important if your child will be going home a different way on these dates, you must notify the front office.

Free Lunch and Breakfast Updated Information:

All students (regardless of their eligibility status) will be eligible for free breakfast and lunch for the reminder of the 2020-2021 school year.  Below is information you can share with your families.

  • Even though meals are currently free, we strongly encourage you to complete a new meal application if your household circumstances have recently changed and you feel you may qualify for free or reduced lunch benefits. Students eligible for free or reduced-price meals can receive free or discounted testing fees, camp registrations, high-speed internet, and other benefits. Schools also receive a portion of their funding based off the percentage of students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals based off their household meal application, regardless of whether that student is attending mySchoolOnline or in person. To review the eligibility guidelines and complete an application, please visitpascoschoolmeals.com.
