Family Weekly Message: February 4th,  2022

 

Good afternoon Cotee River Families, this is Mrs. Slusser with your weekly message. Friday, the 4th, Quarter 3 progress reports are available through your parent portal.  It is important to review, with your child, their current progress and follow up with your child’s teacher with any celebrations or concerns.  On Thursday, the 10th, join us for our monthly Coffee Talk, with Mrs. Miller, starting at 10:15. Mark your calendar for our Spring Book Fair that will be held from February 14th though February 18th. Also, on February 22nd, our Earth Patrol Club, is sponsoring our Campus Clean up and pizza dinner, from 4:30-6:30.  If you and your family would like to participate, please RSVP by sending back the flyer or call our front office at 774-3000. We look forward to seeing all of scholars bright smiling faces, ready to learn Monday morning, no later than 10:10.  Take care.

 

Bell Schedule Starting Semester 2

When children return from Winter Break, on Tuesday, January 4th our new school hours will be 10:10-4:20.  Scholars can be dropped off in the car loop starting at 9:55.  Instruction begins at 10:10.  Children are considered tardy starting at 10:15.  Dismissal will begin at 4:20.

 

Fidget Tools and Toys Reminders

Parents we need your help, if your child needs a fidget tool to support them during the school day, please talk with your child’s teacher so we can provide a tool for them at school. All types of personal pop its, etc should be kept at home. Also, no toys should come to school.  Please check your child’s back pack before coming to school.

 

Important Information for Car Riders at Dismissal

 

  • Hang Car Tag (provided by the school).
  • Pull up along the sidewalk located in the front of the school and remain in your car. THE RIGHT LANE IS DESIGNATED FOR KINDERGARTEN -FIRST GRADE AND SIBLING PICK-UP ONLY. When choosing a lane, please make sure you are in the correct line because it holds up traffic.
  • Your child will be brought to your vehicle by an adult or a safety patrol.
  • Please do not plan on parking and walking your child to the car. We will not release children to adults that are not in their vehicles.
