Good evening this is Mrs. Slusser with your weekly reminders and updates. We are wrapping up with week 3 with Virtual Learning, continue to celebrate the strides you have made through this new learning and process!

Important parent tips as we move into week 4:

  • Remember on Saturdays you can take a look at your child’s instruction for the upcoming week.

  • If you are having difficulty submitting assignments it is important to reach out to your child’s teacher because we do not want this to be a barrier and we have options to provide.  We want to make sure our scholars are receiving credit for the work they are doing.

  • Starting week 4 all teachers will be indicating missing assignments within your child’s gradebook, on Monday’s.  This will start with week 3 assignments.  We will wait until Monday because students may have scheduled to complete assignments over the weekend.  Although a missing assignment is indicated, your child can still complete the assignment in order to receive credit.

  • Parents, if you borrowed a laptop from school we are asking that you restart it over the weekend. However, before you restart it, please make sure you have submitted all your work or any work you have in progress. These computers are soon going to restart automatically in the next couple of days and you will lose stuff you are working on it.

We are here to support you, while we continue your child’s education through the virtual learning platform.  Hope everyone has a great rest of the week.  Take Care.
