Pancake and Parent Practices:

PTAThe PTA is compromised of families, students, teachers, administrators, and business and community leaders devoted to the educational success of children and the promotion of parent involvement at Cotee River Elementary. The CRES PTA prides itself on being a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and the community, and a strong advocate for public education.

2017-18 School Year Meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00pm in Media Center.




SACSchool Advisory Council (SAC) members participate in identifying the needs of the school and developing plans for improvement. The SAC is composed of the principal, select staff members, parents, business and community representatives. All parents, even if not elected to sit on the SAC, are encouraged to communicate with their SAC representatives so all parent suggestions and concerns are addressed.

SchoolThe CRES volunteer program (18+) is an integral part of our total instructional program. Volunteers assist in many activities such as: assisting in the front office, assisting in the media center, classroom projects, field day, field trips, lunchroom duties, special events, and much, much more.


WATCH D.O.GWATCH D.O.G.S. is a program that invites fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or other father figures to volunteer at least one day at school. WatchDOG volunteers perform a variety of tasks during their volunteer day including monitoring the school entrance, assisting with unloading and loading of buses and cars, monitoring the lunch room, or helping in the classroom with a teacher’s guidance by working with small groups of students.
