Good afternoon Cotee River families, this is Mrs. Radcliffe with important information. We had an excellent start to the school year. We appreciate our families partnering with us to ensure your child has a successful year. Attendance Matters! As we continue the school year, we want to remind everyone that regular attendance, arriving to school on time and staying for the duration of the day are essential to your child's success. Children who attend school regularly achieve higher academic success, feel more confident in school and build stronger relationships. It is important that your child is in school learning with us. Elementary school is the time to build education habits and teach children the importance of coming to school.
Reminders and Upcoming Events:
School Hours are 9:50-4:00 (Instruction begins at 9:50). We start unloading cars and buses at 9:30, in order to arrive at class in time for instruction.

- Tuesday, September 1 Open House- Media 5:15-6:45 Prek-2nd 5:30-6:00 p.m. and 3-5th- 6:05-6:35 p.m
- Tuesday, September 1 PTA meeting starting at 8:45 a.m.
- Wednesday, September 16 Quarter 1 Progress Reports available within Parent Portal
- Friday, September 18 PTA Sponsored Goodies with Grandparents 9:00-9:40 a.m., in our cafeteria
- Friday, September 25 Scholar of the Month 3:00 p.m.
