Good afternoon Cotee River families, this is Mrs. Radcliffe with important information. We have a little over a month of school and it is important that all children continue to follow our school wide commitments and finish the year strong. The children have worked hard this year and during their end of year testing, they will be able to show all the great learning they have achieved. An email went out on April 23rd (parent portal), with the dates each grade level is testing.
Reminders and Upcoming Events:
School Hours are 9:45-4:00 (Instruction begins at 9:45). It is important that your child is here by 9:45 in order to arrive at class in time for instruction. Starting at 9:50 your child is considered tardy and they are missing learning.
- Upcoming Events:- Staff Appreciation is the week of May 4th through May 8th. This is an opportunity to show your appreciation to staff members who have had an impact on your child.- May 5th (Tuesday) is our last SAC meeting, for the 25-26 school year, at 9:00 am- May 8th (Friday) PTA is sponsoring our Pastries with Parents starting at 9:00. If scholars are finished before 9:45, they must return to the front of the school. All scholars will be released to classrooms at 9:45. (See flyer that went home)- May 14th (Thursday), End of Year Glow Dance, sponsored by PTA. Wear white or neon colors. Dance is from 6-7:30 and all children must be accompanied by an adult family member. Admission into the dance is free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. (See flyer when it goes home)- May 26th (Tuesday) KG Celebration, starting at 2:30, in our cafeteria (Additional information will be sent out, including how to RSVP )- May 28th (Thursday) 5th Grade Moving On Ceremony 2:15, in our cafeteria (Additional information will be sent out, including how to RSVP- May 29th Last Day of schoolWe look forward to seeing all of our scholars bright, smiling faces ready to learn Monday, May 4th.
