Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day
Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day: Pasco Schools will recognize the event on April 23, 2026, the nationally recognized day.
Site administrators will determine if students can miss school to accompany their parents to work and if employees will be permitted to bring their school-age children with them. The recommended age for participation is children from 3rd to 8th grade.
Please see the process if you are choosing to participate:
- Parents who wish to take their daughter or son out of school to participate in the event must arrange the student’s absence with the principal and teacher(s). If prior communication with the principal and teacher occurred, we will approve the absence for children in grades 3rd-5th.
- District employees who plan to bring their child to work on April 23,2026 need to coordinate their child’s absence with the school principal and teachers in advance, and obtain approval from their site administrator.
