In an effort to ensure that all students have the tools they need to engage in distance learning, Pasco County Schools is establishing community access wi-fi hubs starting on Wednesday, May 6, at five school sites. The hubs will make it possible for families to easily access the internet at that site.

Starting on Wednesday, the hub sites will be available from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Starting on Monday, June 8, the sites will be available Monday through Thursday, also from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The community access wi-fi hubs will be located at the following sites:

  • Lacoochee Elementary School at 38815 Cummer Road in Dade City
  • Woodland Elementary School at 38203 Henry Drive in Zephyrhills
  • Cotee River Elementary School at 7515 Plathe Road in New Port Richey
  • Rodney B Cox Elementary School 37615 Martin Luther King Boulevard in Dade City
  • Pasco Elementary School at 37350 Florida Avenue in Dade City

At each site, a designated area in the parking lot will be clearly marked, and wi-fi access information will be displayed. Families are being asked to follow social distancing recommendations while on campus, and remain in vehicles as much as possible. Families also are encouraged to make sure their device is fully charged before arriving.
