Hello Cotee River Families, this is Mrs. Slusser with your weekly message. Families join us in celebrating Literacy week. This year’s theme is, “Take a Deep Dive into Literacy, Splash into New Worlds”.
Making Waves Monday
- Wear Sunglasses and Bright Colors
Tropical Tuesday
- Wear a Hawaiian shirt and take a Reading Selfie
Whacky Wednesday
- Dress as your favorite character
Tweet out Thursday!
- Wear a hat or visor
Schoolwide Drop Everything and Read (3:45 – 4:15)
- Wear school shirt or colors (blue & yellow)
- Bring a book and beach towel. Parents may join your child. Please sign in at the front office.
Please see the Literacy Week flyer that has been posted and sent home for additional information. Also, on Tuesday, the 24th we will hold our monthly SAC meeting and hold an additional Parent Focus Group at 3:00. During the SAC and Parent Focus Group meeting we will gather feedback as we begin to plan for the upcoming school year. Thursday, the 26th, is our All Pro Dads monthly event that begins at 9:00 a.m. We look forward to seeing everyone’s bright smiling faces ready to learn Monday morning no later than 10:06. Take care.
