Week 7 Family Message
Good afternoon Cotee River Families this is Mrs. Slusser with your upcoming weekly information. Thank you to the families who were able to join us this past week for our Virtual Open House. This week will be conducting our mandated ATP Drill and Fire Drill. Families who returned your child’s flu shot form will receive their shots on Tuesday, October 6th. Thursday Mrs. Miller will be hosting out monthly Coffee Talk with our parents. Please see the flyer for time and how to access the Zoom Link. Also, on Friday we are kicking off our school wide Read-A-Thon fundraiser. Your child should bring home the information on Friday. If every child could raise $30 we will meet our school wide fundraising goal. All monies go directly back to our scholars and staff. There are also class and individual incentives built into the fundraiser. The Read-A-Thon event will take place in your child’s class, whether they are here at school or on the MSOL platform on Friday October 23rd. We are also approaching the end of quarter 1, on October 16th. If you have not already, please schedule a conference with your child’s teacher to hear about all of their strengths and next steps in their education journey.
